RUNNING ON EMPTY AS REAL ESTATE AND LIFE RUN FULL-SPEED AHEAD

But it’s no secret “there are still miles to go before we sleep.” In the world of real estate, more than $100 million went pending last week in a seven-day stretch between Carbondale and Aspen. This despite record low inventory. At that pace, we’d sell more than $5 billion of property in a year. The actually number is of course lower but still impressive as we are trending toward $2 billion in total sales volume for 2021. So far there is no “off season” in site for those in the industry.

It’s been another exceptional quarter for Aspen Snowmass Sotheby’s International Realty. Historically low inventory combined with a strong demand makes it a true seller’s market.

Aspen single-family home price points have risen by 17% YTD. Snowmass village single-family market is by far the most active in 2021 with dollar volume up 119% over last year and transactions up 60%. Snowmass Village condominium sales are also surging with dollar volume and transactions up 66% YTD.

Aspen Snowmass Sotheby's continues to dominate the market with more sales than our next two competitors combined. We have represented one-third of all transactions above $2 million, and represented more than twice the amount of clients as our next competitor.
